PhD researcher in the Interdisciplinary Biological Sciences Program at ECU University in the United States of America – Biomedical Sciences. She holds a master’s degree in Applied Chemistry. Salem specializes in the regional water issues, the global environmental challenges, and nanotechnology. She has worked as a graduate teacher assistant in chemistry for several years, and in quality control labs. She is the co-author of a recent study on “Abnormal cytoskeletal dynamics in stressed cells” (Nov 2019).
