Dr Hasan Obaid – Co-founder, Europe Manager and Head of Research and Studies Department
Obaid holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. Dr Obaid is a researcher at several think tanks, he authored several papers and articles dealing with Middle East issues, many of which have been published in various research centres.
Ihsan Adel, PhD – Founder, Vice-Chair and Head of Partnerships Department
Adel is a PhD researcher in international development and international law at the Institute of Development Research and Development Policy IEE – Ruhr University, Germany. He holds a master’s degree in international humanitarian law and is specialised in human rights issues in the MENA region and Europe. Adel is the founder of Visto international, the Co-founder, Former Chairman and Legal Department Director of Euro-Med Monitor (2011-2019); an author of several publications on international law and human rights, including 2 books; an ICRC certified trainer in the field of international humanitarian law as well as regular commentator for different TV channels, including Al Jazeera, Al Arabiya, France 24 and DW Arabic.
Enas Zayed – Co-founder, Head of Human Rights Department
Zayed is a lawyer, human rights activist and PhD researcher in international law at the University of Birmingham, UK; Former Euro-Med Monitor’s Chairwoman and Legal Advisor; and a legal advisor to several local and international human rights organisations. Zayed trained hundreds of activists and students in the fields of human rights, mock trials and intellectual property.
