Zobiri is a Professor of sociology, organisation and union work at Ziane Achour University of Djelfa in Algeria. Dr Zobiri wrote articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals on trade union work in Algeria. He also has several contributions in international and national forums, and is a research associate at several of Algeria’s research institutes. His latest contributions were a study published in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and a book titled “Sociology of the Union Movement in Algeria: Legacy of the Past and Strategies of the Present”.
Abu Odeh is an Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, a permanent fellow of the Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research, and an advisor for Visto International. He received his PhD from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2017, and where he also taught between the years 2014-2015. In 2009, he was a visiting scholar at University of California-San Diego where he conducted a critical study on the politics of knowledge and late style in the work of Edward Said. His research focuses on Orientalism, postcolonialism, critical theory, race studies, and the politics of exile. His latest book, The Consolations of Exile: Narrating the Self, has recently been published by the Arab Institute for Research and Publication, Beirut(2019). She holds a master’s degree in Applied Chemistry. Salem specializes in the regional water issues, the global environmental challenges, and nanotechnology. Sulaiman Aref Bsharat: is a Palestinian writer and editor-in-chief of several media platforms. Bishara is also a researcher in media and political science issues, holding a Master’s degree in digital media. He is the director of Yabous for Consulting & Strategic Studies based in Ramallah. Bishara won the first prize in the Women’s and Media Studies Competition from the Arab Women Center for Training and Research. He co-authored a 2015 book on the problems facing reform attempts and mechanisms of activation in the Palestinian political system. Mohamed Farahat holds a BA in law from Cairo University. He obtained several graduate diplomas, including one in Civil Society and Law, and another in International Negotiations from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University. Mr Farhat completed a third graduate diploma, this time in African Studies from the Institute of African Research and Studies at Cairo University. A fourth graduate diploma was done in International Law from the Faculty of Law at Cairo University, and the last one in Parliamentary Studies. Mr Farhat’s currently doing his Master’s thesis in African Studies while also working at the Egyptian Foundation for Refugee Support as a lawyer and director of programs. In addition, Mr Farhat is a member of the Steering Committee of the Internet Rights and Principles Alliance (IRPC), as well as a member of the advisory committee of the North African Internet Governance Forum.
